1. The General Playing Rules of the B.T.B.A will govern this tournament together with the following Special Rules and Conditions.
2. All bowlers must be in possession of a current B.T.B.A. membership card or the equivalent national card. Non production will result in a £5.00 fine. Non B.T.B.A. Members will not be eligible for points. Points will not be awarded retrospectively.
3. The Tournament Manager reserves the right to accept, reject or reschedule any entry and his decision on all matters including protests and / or any other question shall be final, subject to the right of appeal to the B.T.B.A. Protests of any nature must be lodged by the Y.B.C. registered official or player with the Tournament Manager within 30 minutes of the infraction occurring and confirmed in writing before the end of the tournament. A provisional ball will be rolled if a dispute relating to pin fall cannot be resolved immediately.
4. Competitors will wear the correct bowling attire in the playing area. Shirts must bear the name of the players Y.B.C. or the player's name. Dark coloured trousers /skirts/skorts to be worn. Alcoholic or cigarette sponsors are not allowed. Casual shorts, denim clothing or jeans of any description will not be permitted. The wearing of hats of any description will only be permitted at the Tournaments Managers discretion.
5. Mobile phones must be switched off during match play and are not permitted in the playing area. No earphones from MP3, mobile phones etc shall be worn while on the approach during tournament play.
6. Only Tournament officials, Players, Lane Marshals and one Licensed Instructor / Coach per team are allowed in the playing area. Tournament Officials or Lane Marshals should be made aware of any score changes before the alteration is made. The licensed representative must comply with the dress code stated above and display their licence.
7. No competitor will be allowed to consume alcoholic beverages anywhere in the centre during the tournament. Any breech of this rule will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament, including during a break. This will also apply in the case of improper gestures, bad language and abuse of bowling equipment or machinery. Any disqualification will result in the loss of scores and awards. Any player whose conduct is considered likely to bring the sport into disrepute will be disqualified from the tournament. Any individual so disqualified will be reported to the B.T.B.A for consideration of disciplinary proceedings.
8. Notification of changes to team line-up should be made at least 24 hours prior to the tournament starting.
If the illness is in the last 24 hours then notify the Tournament Manager 15 minutes prior to Registration opening as this will have an effect on the lane draw.
9. Registration for each squad will be 30 minutes prior to the published squad time. Tardy players will commence play at the frame in progress as directed by the Tournament Manager.
10. In the event of a tie of any award placing, the higher score of the last game bowled shall determine the position. In the event of a further tie, the penultimate games will be compared and so on until the placing is resolved.
11. No one will be allowed to pace in the tournament prior to them taking part.
